Le’ Colaz in Action: Advancing Collaboration at the 7M Progress Meeting

Bringing collaboration to the forefront, the Le’ Colaz consortium gathered on 23–24 April in Brindisi, Italy, for its 7M Progress Meeting, kindly hosted by CETMA. Held in a hybrid format, the meeting enabled both in-person and remote participation, ensuring that all partners could actively contribute to an engaging and highly interactive exchange focused on alignment and progress across the project.

Over the two days, partners shared key updates on the progress achieved so far and took part in constructive discussions to shape the next steps, maintaining strong momentum across all workstreams. Particular attention was given to aligning the project’s use cases, as well as refining the approach and applications within the project’s Living Labs.

A highlight of the meeting was its dynamic and participatory atmosphere. Two especially engaging workshops, led by project partners E2ARC and A.B iED, encouraged active involvement from all participants. Through questionnaires, open dialogue, and the exchange of perspectives and experiences, partners worked together to explore important aspects of the project, while fostering a shared understanding and a more cohesive direction.

In addition to the working sessions, participants also had the opportunity to visit CETMA’s facilities and laboratories. The tour offered valuable insights into how secondary raw materials are being transformed into sustainable building products, providing a tangible connection to the project’s core objectives and innovation pathways.

Beyond the technical sessions, the meeting also offered a valuable opportunity to reconnect in person, strengthen relationships across the consortium, and further reinforce the collaborative spirit that drives the project forward.

As Le’ Colaz continues to progress, the consortium remains committed to advancing circular, modular, and smart construction solutions. By combining innovation, intelligence, and circular design, the project is actively contributing to a low-carbon and resilient built environment, paving the way for more sustainable construction practices across Europe and beyond.

Stay tuned for more updates as the project moves into its next phase!
