R-Nano Representing Le’ Colaz at Innovent Forum 2026

Recently, Innovent Forum 2026 provided a dynamic platform for innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, bringing together key actors from across the entrepreneurial and research landscape. Within this environment, Le’ Colaz made a strong and impactful presence, represented by the Project Coordinator, R-Nano.

A Dynamic Innovation Ecosystem

Held in Larissa, Greece, and organised by the Municipality of Larissa in collaboration with JOIST Innovation Park, the forum brought together entrepreneurs, researchers, start-ups, investors, and public stakeholders. With a strong focus on innovation ecosystems, digital transformation, and sustainable development, the event closely aligned with Le’ Colaz’s core objectives, offering an ideal context to present its vision and activities.

Showcasing the Vision of Le’ Colaz

During the event, Vassiliki Tsotoulidi (R-Nano) participated in the panel discussion “Energy Technologies for a Sustainable and Efficient Future”, moderated by Periklis Terlixidis, Chief Executive Officer at ahedd DIH S.A. & Smart Attica EDIH Manager, alongside the experts Costas Theodoropoulos, CEO & Co-Founder at  RETHING, Nikos Ploskas, Associate Professor at University of Western Macedonia and Vivian Paraschou, Sustainability Business Development Leader Schneider Electric Greece & Cyprus. During the discussion, Vassiliki Tsotoulidi delivered an insightful presentation titled “Advanced Materials and Digital Technologies Driving Green and Smart Buildings.”, in which she presented Le’ Colaz’s approach to reimagining the construction sector through modular, circular, and intelligent design principles, highlighting solutions that enhance resource efficiency, reduce waste, and integrate smart technologies into the built environment.

Building on this framework, she addressed key dimensions of the green transition in construction. These included:

  • the role of research projects in developing solutions that are both sustainable and market-ready
  • the contribution of advanced materials to improving energy efficiency and achieving sustainability targets
  • the potential of digital technologies and smart systems to optimise energy management while increasing accessibility and responsiveness in buildings.

She also emphasised the importance of innovation ecosystems and cross-sector collaboration between research, industry, and public authorities in accelerating the development and uptake of sustainable energy solutions.

These insights collectively reinforced the systemic nature of the energy transition and the need for integrated approaches, an area in which Le’ Colaz actively contributes through its vision and activities.

Building Connections and Future Opportunities

Participation in Innovent Forum 2026 provided an important opportunity to position Le’ Colaz within a wider innovation landscape. The event enabled direct engagement with academia, industry professionals, policymakers, and the public, fostering exchanges on project objectives and potential synergies. These interactions are key to strengthening networks and ensuring broader uptake and impact of project outcomes.

Moreover, the forum facilitated meaningful dialogue on emerging trends and challenges in innovation-driven sectors, reinforcing the value of cross-sector collaboration. For Le’ Colaz, this visibility also supports the development of partnerships that can enhance the scalability and real-world application of its solutions.

As the project advances, such engagements remain essential for bridging research and implementation. Le’ Colaz remains committed to its vision of circular, modular, and smart construction, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient built environment.
